Who is responsible for your information?
Carol Glover is the data controller for personal information handled through Carol Glover Coaching and Brave New Leader®. Questions or requests can be sent to carol@carolglovercoaching.com.
What information is collected?
The website may collect:
- your name, email address, organisation and anything you include when you contact Carol
- information needed to arrange or deliver coaching, programmes, events or other services
- billing and transaction records, although payment card details are handled by the relevant payment provider
- basic technical and usage information, such as pages visited, referral source and interactions, only where analytics consent has been given
- administrative account information for authorised website editors
Answers entered into the website’s public diagnostic tools are processed in your browser and are not stored by this website unless a tool clearly tells you otherwise.
Why is it used?
Personal information is used to respond to enquiries, provide requested services, manage bookings and business records, meet legal and tax obligations, keep the website secure and, with consent, understand how the website is used.
Legal bases
Information is processed where it is necessary to take steps at your request or perform a contract, comply with a legal obligation, pursue legitimate business interests such as answering enquiries and keeping appropriate records, or where you have given consent. Consent can be withdrawn at any time.
Who may receive it?
Information may be shared only where necessary with service providers that support the website and Carol's business. Providers used by this website include:
- Formspree, which processes information submitted through the contact form
- OpenAI and Cloudflare, which provide website hosting, delivery and security infrastructure
- Google Fonts, which supplies the Montserrat typeface and receives basic technical request information such as an IP address and browser details when the font is loaded
Other providers may support email, booking, document storage, accounting or payments. Information may also be shared with professional advisers or public authorities where required by law. Personal information is not sold.
International transfers
Some service providers may process information outside the Isle of Man. Where this happens, appropriate safeguards are used as required by applicable data protection law.
How long is it kept?
Enquiries are kept only as long as reasonably needed to respond and manage the relationship. Client, contractual and financial records may be retained for the periods required for legal, tax, insurance and professional purposes. Information that is no longer needed is deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access your personal information, correct it, ask for deletion or restriction, object to processing, receive portable information and withdraw consent. Email carol@carolglovercoaching.com to make a request.
You can also raise a concern with the Isle of Man Information Commissioner.
